Job Description
We’re seeking a technically proficient, up-to-date, and detail-oriented Technical Manager for our DNA testing company. You must be well-versed and have hands-on experience/knowledge with STR / YSTR / mtDNA techniques, STR profile interpretation, and DNA STR report analysis. You will be primarily responsible for our day-to-day DNA testing operations, including DNA testing report creation, documentation, client coordination, and related tasks. This role requires a sincere team player with exceptional attention to detail (NO MARGIN FOR ERROR), as DNA reports are scientific and legal documents where even minor errors can have serious consequences. Highly observant nature, unshakable work ethics, report accuracy, professionalism, and effective coordination with laboratory and healthcare teams are essential to this role.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. in Forensic Sciences
- Minimum 6 months of internship or work experience in DNA laboratories, diagnostics, biotechnology, forensic science, molecular biology, laboratory operations, or related healthcare industries.
Mandatory Skills
- Working knowledge of STR-based DNA testing techniques and STR report interpretation.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent documentation and report-writing skills for DNA testing procedures.
- Ability to prepare STR analysis reports with uncompromisable accuracy and NO MARGIN FOR ERROR.
- A team player with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day DNA laboratory operations and workflow coordination.
- Assist in STR/YSTR/mtDNA profile analysis and report preparation under laboratory protocols.
- Create accurate DNA testing reports with data received from the lab, data analysis, and laboratory documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation for DNA samples, testing records, and client files.
- Ensure complete confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
- Verify testing parties’ data carefully before report generation to eliminate reporting errors.
- Outreach potential clients – individuals, institutes, and organizations, on a daily basis and do regular follow-ups.
- Handle customer enquiries with technical assistance and guide them through telephone, email, WhatsApp, and office visits.
